CSL Integration Win McAfee AV/IT Contract
New State of the Art AV/IT Executive Briefing Centre Environment in Amsterdam, Holland
CSL Integration has been awarded a 1.2 million pound contract to provide McAfee with a new state of the art AV/IT environment in Amsterdam, Holland. The high-tech 'Executive Briefing Centre' will enable McAfee to showcase and demonstrate their software products to clients and Senior Executives from within the EMEA sector.
The project will see CSL Integration install a complete Creston Digital Media solution that will distribute and control all source feeds to 9 independent areas including a 4x2 46" LCD war room media wall, 26 person meeting room, 2x2 46" LCD media wall and other meeting room spaces.
CSL Integration McAfee War Room
In addition, a number of Polycom High Definition IP video conferencing systems will be installed into meeting rooms and four ceiling mounted projectiondesign projectors will project a 4m wide single image onto the Priva Lite comms room glass wall. The centre piece of the space is a 4.5metre floating collaboration table housing 9 x NEC 46" screens, framed by a 32" touch PQ interactive touch overlay, to enable guest users to interact with bespoke software.

BlackBerry PlayBook
BlackBerry Launches PlayBook
BlackBerry has announced the launch of its new PlayBook tablet that will be a direct competitor to the Apple iPad and the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
The new BlackBerry unit is anticipated to succeed in the corporate market due to its mobile video conferencing capabilities, boasting dual HD cameras in the front and rear.
The PlayBook is expected to be launched in the US in the early part of 2011, with expansion into the international markets throughout quarter two.
Cisco take on Skype
According to a report by 'All Things Digital', a leading technology website, Cisco is set to launch a home Telepresence system imminently.
The product, will compete with Skype HD, which is in Beta format at the moment. Actual pricing has not been revealed, however, rumours have been varying between $200 and $500.
